Cruises
Waterslides at sea, private islands and kid-free escapes, all planned around your family.
One Vacation, Many Destinations
A cruise lets you unpack once and wake up somewhere new. Meals, entertainment and kids’ clubs are built in, which makes it one of the easiest ways for a family to travel together.
Royal Caribbean is the cruise line we book most, and we also plan sailings on Virgin Voyages, Princess, Celebrity, Norwegian and Disney Cruise Line. We’ll help you choose the right line, ship, cabin and itinerary, and we’ll handle the details from deposit to boarding day.
Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean is the cruise line we book most, and for good reason. Its ships are packed with waterslides, surf simulators, ice skating, Broadway-style shows and neighborhoods for every age, with kids’ clubs from toddlers to teens. The Icon Class ships, Icon of the Seas, Star of the Seas and the brand-new Legend of the Seas, are the most family-focused ships at sea, and Legend begins sailing from Fort Lauderdale in November 2026.
Many Caribbean itineraries stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island, and the new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau opened in December 2025.
Don't Miss
- Perfect Day at CocoCay
- Royal Beach Club Paradise Island (Nassau)
- Category 6, the largest waterpark at sea (Icon Class)
- Crown’s Edge ropes course and thrill ride
- Surfside, a neighborhood for young families (Icon Class)
- Ultimate Family Townhouse
Virgin Voyages
Virgin Voyages is our pick for a grown-ups-only getaway, whether it’s a honeymoon, an anniversary or a trip with friends. Every sailor is 18 or older, and instead of buffets and formal nights you’ll find 20-plus eateries, a lively deck scene and plenty of spots to relax.
Wi-Fi, basic drinks and tips are included in your fare. The four ships, Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady, sail the Caribbean and Europe, and Brilliant Lady also sails Alaska.
Don't Miss
- The Beach Club at Bimini
- Scarlet Night, the signature deck party
- Test Kitchen
- Gunbae Korean BBQ
- Pink Agave
- The Manor nightclub
Princess Cruises
Princess offers a relaxed, classic cruise with great dining and some of the best Alaska trips at sea, including cruisetours that add time on land near Denali. MedallionClass, a small wearable medallion, unlocks your stateroom and lets food and drinks find you anywhere on the ship.
The newest ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, bring a striking glass-domed pool deck. Star Princess sails Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale this winter and returns to Alaska in summer 2027.
Don't Miss
- The Dome (Sun Princess and Star Princess)
- The Piazza atrium
- Alaska cruisetours near Denali
- MedallionClass service
- The Sanctuary, an adults-only retreat

Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity is a step up in style, with sleek ships, standout restaurants, a beautiful spa and a quieter pace, while kids are still welcome. The Edge Series ships feature the Magic Carpet, a moving platform on the side of the ship that serves as a restaurant, bar and boarding deck.
The newest ship, Celebrity Xcel, debuted from Fort Lauderdale in November 2025, and Celebrity guests can buy a day at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau.
Don't Miss
- The Magic Carpet
- Eden
- Rooftop Garden
- The Resort Deck
- The Retreat, for suite guests
- Celebrity Xcel, the newest ship
Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian is all about freedom: no set dinner times, no formal dress code and lots of dining choices, which makes it easy for big groups to do their own thing. Newer ships like Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna sail Caribbean cruises from Florida, and The Haven offers a private ship-within-a-ship for suite guests.
Norwegian’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, now has a pier so most ships dock instead of using tenders, and the new Great Tides Waterpark opened there in September 2026 (separate fee).
Don't Miss
- Aqua Slidecoaster (Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna)
- The Drop, a 10-story dry slide
- Great Tides Waterpark at Great Stirrup Cay

Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line is what we know best. Expect Broadway-style shows, characters around every corner, rotational dining that moves your servers with you, and kids’ clubs your children won’t want to leave, plus adults-only spaces for you.
Disney Destiny debuted from Fort Lauderdale in November 2025, and Disney Adventure began sailing from Singapore in March 2026. In the Bahamas, Disney guests can visit two private destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Which Cruise Line Is Right for You?
Every cruise line has its own personality. Here’s a quick guide, and we’ll help you narrow it down by ship, itinerary and budget.
Families With Kids
Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Disney Cruise Line have the biggest kids’ clubs, waterslides and family cabins. For thrills, Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class is hard to beat.
Couples & Adults-Only Trips
Virgin Voyages is adults-only (18+), and Celebrity offers a quieter, more refined feel. Both are wonderful for honeymoons, anniversaries and trips with friends.
Multigenerational Groups
Royal Caribbean, Princess and Norwegian have something for every age. Connecting cabins, suites and private island days make it easy to spend time together and still have downtime.
What to Know Before You Sail
Choosing a Cabin
Inside cabins are the best value, balconies are worth it on scenic itineraries like Alaska, and family and connecting cabins sell out early. Booking early gives you the best choice.
Florida Cruise Ports
Port Canaveral (near Orlando), PortMiami and Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale are home to many Bahamas and Caribbean sailings. We recommend arriving the day before so a flight delay doesn’t cost you the ship.
Passports & ID
On closed-loop cruises that start and end at the same U.S. port, U.S. citizens can usually sail with a birth certificate (plus photo ID for ages 16+). We still recommend passports in case you need to fly home from another country.
What’s Included
Your fare covers your cabin, main dining rooms, entertainment and kids’ clubs. Specialty dining, drink packages, Wi-Fi, excursions and tips are usually extra, though Virgin Voyages includes tips, Wi-Fi and basic drinks.
Private Islands
Most Bahamas and Caribbean cruises stop at a private island or beach club, like Perfect Day at CocoCay, Great Stirrup Cay, The Beach Club at Bimini or Disney’s Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. We’ll help you plan the perfect beach day.
Cruising With Little Ones
Most cruise lines require babies to be at least 6 months old to sail, and some longer itineraries require 12 months. Nursery and kids’ club ages vary by line, so we’ll help you find the best fit.
