Look for an activities board near the pool or food court, or check your tv for the schedule during your stay.
Three pools: Bowling Pool located in the 50’s area, flower-shaped Hippy Dippy Pool located in the 60’s area, and monitor-shaped Computer Pool located in the 90’s area.
Lifejackets are available for use, the kiddie pool is available near the 60s area, as well as a playground.
Arcade: Fast Forward video arcade is located in Classic Hall.
Movies: Pop Century also hosts Movies Under the Stars by the Hippy Dippy Pool.
The laundry rooms at Pop Century are opposite all three of the on-site pools.
Each cycle at the self-service laundry facilities costs $3 per wash; the dryers are also $3 for 30 minutes. Credit and debit cards are now accepted at all laundry locations for washers, dryers, and soap vending at most Walt Disney World Resort hotels. In addition, all laundry rooms have the ability to request a text message when a laundry cycle is complete!
Please note: While some locations still contain a limited number of coin-operated washers (with a change machine made available), other locations accept credit and debit cards only.
Walt Disney World Resort hotels also offer dry cleaning and valet laundry services. Select “Housekeeping” on your in-room phone to schedule a pick-up.
Everything Pop shop, located in Classic Hall, adjacent to the Food Court, is a wonderful place to pick out some great Disney souvenirs and vacation necessities.

You have two Disney transportation options at Pop Century
These travel times are approximate and provided to give you an idea of the average travel time from the resort to the park.
Please plan on up to a 20-minute wait for Disney transportation in addition to walking time to resort, or theme park transportation stops.
Magic Kingdom – 24 minutes by bus, 31 minutes by car (with transfers)
Epcot – 20 minutes by bus, 19 by car, 18 minutes by Skyliner
Disney’s Hollywood Studios – 18 minutes by bus, 18 by car, and 12 minutes by Skyliner
Animal Kingdom – 20 minutes, 15 by car
Disney Springs – 20 minutes by bus, 15 by car
Blizzard Beach Water Park – 19 minutes by bus, 11 minutes by car
Typhoon Lagoon Water Park – 20 minutes by bus, 13 minutes by car
At Pop Century, the Epcot fireworks may be visible from certain areas of the resort. In the ‘50s section, you may catch a view from the fourth-floor balconies.
I think the food courts at both Pop Century and Art of Animation are some of the best food courts on Disney property. They both offer unique items. Since the resorts are so close in proximity, you can always walk to the other resort to enjoy its food court.
One of my favorite things about Pop Century is the convenient access to the Disney Skyliner for access to Disney’s Hollywood Studios & Epcot. If you are traveling with a double stroller, please note that a tandem stroller will not need to be folded for a Skyliner ride. However, you must fold the side-by-side double strollers for the ride.
The Disney Skyliner also offers a quick ride over to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort & Disney’s Riviera Resort, as well as Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, & Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. My family takes advantage of transportation by the Disney Skyliner often while staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. This is so that in addition to visiting our favorite parks, we can dine at some of our favorite restaurants in other resorts without having to take multiple buses or drive our own car around.
The path near the water and across the Generation Gap Bridge is a very enjoyable walk.
There are many icons at both resorts that make for great photo ops! Hint: Take a hop over to Art of Animation for a closer inspection of your favorites from the movie Cars.
If you are at a theme park waiting for a bus for Pop Century and one for Art of Animation comes first (or vice versa), take the bus and just walk the short distance from one resort to the other.
You’ll love taking a stroll down memory lane with a stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort!
